Stainless Steel Enclosures
Stainless steel is an extremely multi-purpose durable material. It was initially developed because of its corrosion resistant characteristics. Heritage Stainless Steel Enclosures can be used indoors or outdoors to house and protect all types of electronic controls and instrumentation equipment. Heritage offers UL Listed type 4X enclosures upon design. The most commonly used grades of stainless steel that Heritage utilizes are 304 and 316. Type 304 stainless is utilized in most applications whereas 316 stainless is used in harsher environments. Heritage enclosures are built to the customers’ size specifications and have a variety of features to choose from. Back panels are available in stainless steel, painted mild steel or aluminum. A variety of latches are available including 3 point, ¼ turn, ‘L’ handles and ‘T’ handles. Hinges available include continuous hinges or the lift off style ‘bullet’ hinges that can be either exposed or hidden. Industry applications include: Food Processing, Waste Water, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Ethanol, Petrochemical, Dairies, Breweries, and other applications subject to hose down or corrosive environments.
